The Intercultural Studies Group at Universitat Rovira i Virgili is delighted to announce the conference on New Literacies in Translation.

The conference aims to provide a platform for scholars in Translation and Intercultural Studies, industry professionals, and doctoral students to engage in relevant discussions on current and emerging issues in Translation Studies, share innovative ideas, and foster collaborations that will help shape the discipline's future.

Nune Ayvazyan and Anthony Pym attended the CTER Congress on Translation Pedagogy, Kraków, Poland, on March 17-18, 2025, and gave talks on the use of AI-enhanced technologies in the teaching of translation.

Olga Galofré is leaving us...

Olga Galofré Ribas is leaving her position as Administrative Secretary of the Department of English and German Studies. She will be taking on higher administrative responsibilities within the university.

Her work at the department has been much appreciated by all. We are sad to see her go.

At the department lunch on 19 December, Olga was presented with some small tokens of our appreciation.
