About the speaker:

Mark Lodge has been a seasoned freelance translator from Spanish and Catalan to English

since 1987. He has extensive experience in both editing and translating for prestigious

organizations, publishing houses, and universities. His work includes academic articles on

communication, media studies, journalism, and social sciences. Notable translations

include Life in the Financial Markets by Daniel Lacalle and Memoirs of a Spanish Civil

War Artist by Carles Fontserè, supported by the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. In addition to

his translation work, Mark has edited numerous works, such as Arshile Gorky, Works and

Writings, demonstrating his editorial expertise and commitment to high-quality content.

Since 2017, he has also taught Scientific Communication at the Universitat Internacional

de Catalunya.
