Stylish performance by The Eightballs
On 25 April 2024, the URV Lletrafest, the celebrations of the Faculty of Arts / Facultat de Lletres. One of the events was a lunchtime performance by the local rock group The Eightballs (liberally translated as "Els vuit ous", since there are four of them), led on this occasion by John Style, also known for teaching English Literature in our department.
The music was great, as a little lunchtime dancing can attest, and the fans flocked in afterward.
The more mature audience recognized a lot of Beatles, some Rolling Stones, and impressive recall of The Kinks, among much else.
For the record:
Jools Oliva - lead guitar
Rob Bianchi - drums
Phil Hoddy - bass
John Style `rhythm guitar
